Diversity Management is Still a Must – African American Doctor Depicted as Gorilla at UCLA Event

Think that Diversity isn’t a priority in America? Dr. Christian Head is a tenured professor at the UCLA Medical School and experienced unfair treatment in 2006 when he was depicted as an ape by UCLA Medical School residents at an event. Watch this powerful video that proves that we are not in a Post Racial America.

America’s corporations, universities and colleges need to have a pro-active diversity management system in place to ensure equality and fairness happens. UCLA boasts only 2% African American professors on campus and declining African American student populations.

      Janette, it’s clear that from Academia to Corporate America there’s a need for effective diversity management and education. Environments where this activity is cultivated should be eliminated. Someone should have said this is wrong. Thank you for your comments.
